Cancellation Policy:

Our cancellation policy may seem strict, but cancellations affect us significantly. We are a small, intimate and romantic INn. Before your scheduled arrival we have shopped for the freshest and best products to serve you. We prepare and specially bake our famous Cakes and Breads our guests appreciate. If you cancel there is an enormous waste of planning, product, cost and time. When the room is booked the accommodation is removed from our availability web sites and calendars causing us to turn away other bookings. After you cancel, all this has to be reversed, and most importantly, we have now lost a possible guest booking.

Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date will result in a full refund minus a 20% service charge. Half of the service charge may ( under certain circumstances) be applied to a future stay. If you cancel in less than 14 days, you will be charged for one night’s stay or 50% if canceling a multiple night booking.  

Cancellations are ONLY valid if you CALL US BY PHONE and receive a CANCELLATION VERIFICATION NUMBER in return. Internet or e-mail cancellations are NOT VALID.  Baseball Hall of Fame weekend deposits are not refundable.

A security deposit of $200. may be required and will be returned after a successful inspection at the completion of your stay.

 Multiple Room Bookings and Longer Stays:

If you give us at least 30 days notice on multiple room bookings or longer stays ( four or more days), the deposit will be refunded minus a 30% service charge. Two or more rooms booked require a 50% deposit check to hold the reservation. Credit Card or a check for the balance is due at least 30 days before the arrival date. All valid cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, otherwise you will lose whatever payments were made.
